Your Bitmoji could probably use a little updating.

If you designed a Bitmoji when they first debuted on Snapchat and never looked back, odds are the digitized version of yourself could use a little updating.

Snapchat has partnered with plenty of clothing brands and designers – including Levi's, Ralph Lauren, and Off White – in the past few years, so the options to outfit your Bitmoji are nearly endless. For exactly how to change your Bitmoji, from clothes to hairstyle to body type, we've got the step-by-step guide.

1. Open Snapchat, and click on your current Bitmoji icon.

It sits in the top left corner, and should probably resemble you at least a little bit.

2. Tap on your Bitmoji again, which should now be larger and 3D.

The 3D Bitmoji premiered in August, and it's uh, a little creepy, but it's what we're working with. Clicking on the Bitmoji will display all the elements you can edit. You can also click on the clothes hanger button or photo button on the left and right corners of the Bitmoji screen to edit its clothes or background.

3. Choose what you want to change, and scroll through the options.

"Change Outfit" will obviously change your Bitmoji's outfit. "Pose & Background" will change how your Bitmoji stands at the top of the screen and what the background looks like. "Change Selfie" gives you options for what other people see when they search for you on Snapchat. "Edit Avatar" will let you alter features like hairstyle, eye color, body type, and more.

4. Make sure you hit "Save" after each of your changes.

Each element needs to be saved on its own, so make sure you hit that button after every edit.

5. Admire the updated, weirdly 3D, digital version of yourself.

Your existing Snapchat friends will see the 3D Bitmoji when they click on your profile, but anyone looking to add you as a new friend via Snap code will only see the 2D version. Both will be sporting any new changes you've made. Hopefully it looks more like you now!
