A new trailer for Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion series has arrived, showing that super spy Nick Fury's (Samuel L. Jackson) suspicious nature may be more self-preservation than paranoia.

Based on the 2008 Marvel Comics event of the same name, Secret Invasion focuses on Fury's fight against an invasion by shapeshifting aliens known as Skrulls, first introduced to the MCU in Captain Marvel. It's a bit more complicated than shooting down spaceships though, with Skrulls opting to covertly invade Earth by secretly installing double agents into positions of power.

The series will see the return of Marvel characters Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Rhodey aka War Machine (Don Cheadle), and Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman), as well as introduce new characters played by Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.

Secret Invasion infiltrates Disney+ on Jun. 21.
