Being a superhero isn't necessarily all it's cracked up to be.

That seems to be the message at the centre of the new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse , the sequel to Into the Spider-Verse that follows Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) as he gets to grips with his new superhero duties.

While the first trailer set the scene for the second instalment, the latest delves more into Miles' trip into the multiverse and sets up a difficult decision he may have to make.

"Miles, being Spider-Man is a sacrifice," chief Spider-Man Miguel O'Hara (Oscar Isaac) says at one point. "You have a choice between saving one person and saving every world." Uh-oh.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hits cinemas June 2.
