Developed by ATONATON(opens in a new tab), the Robotic Basketball Hoop is a regulation-sized backboard and hoop mounted on an ABB IRB 8700 industrial robot arm. The idea behind the project was to create a hoop with a personality. Depending on its mood, it may kneel down to allow a dunk or pull back at the last second if it feels like teasing you.
